I'm so excited.
"I know it's really silly, but remember the post I had with the rubber tree as a possible idea for the restaurant I work at? Today, I contacted a person about using a font he created for the menu. (It's the font that my boss liked the most out of a list of possibilities) Within the same day, the creator contacted me back and is going to allow me to use it commercially for $10. It's becoming real for me; I love that. I never had moments like this while I was in the sciences and that's probably why I just auto-piloted through it."
I posted that at my other journal, the one that's dedicated to design, but I guess I wanted to share it here too. It just feel so awesome being able to actively do something that pertains to my major while still in school. Getting my feet wet while still trying learning.
